Nissan 2.8 gtx Skyline with some modifications done. List of mods are as below: 89mm sub assembly with pocketed flat top pistons(crank and rods stock) Mild porting of cylinder head(stock valves and valve springs) Cylinder head skimmed Stock camshaft regrinded to S280 spec(300 degree duration) Stock flywheel lightened Wiscus fan removed and replaced with electrical radiator fan Header with 63mm single box exhaust Button clutch kit 4.11 ratio diff(stock 3.9) Triple weber dcoe 45 sidedraft carburettors with 36mm chokes The car was tuned at Motordrive in Parow and final power figures were 182kw on the flywheel and 152kw on the rear wheels(stock power rating is 105kw at the flywheel)

So at the moment the car is standing waiting for all the below pictured parts to be fitted and then the whole setup will be retuned. I am aiming for 220kw at the flywheel and 180kw on the rear wheels. Parts to be fitted are: Triple dellorto dhla 48 sidedraft carburettors(38 mm chokes) on a JCR intake manifold. Billet TR88 camshaft(314 degree duration) with crane valve springs. Adjustable camshaft vernier gear. Msd 6AL Ignition with msd blaster 2 coil and msd plug wires. Rebuilt L28 electronic matchbox module distributor.

Hi.
I own a 1983 Datsun 280zx.
I live in Windhoek and do not have access to all the spares and resources.
Can you tell me where I can purchase the tripple carbs and have them fitted and tuned?
I also would like the heads gas flowed and valves rebuild with oversized valves.
Who can you recommend as a engine shop?

Nice build, its been a few years, how far did you come with this build and what was the result, building a long stroke 89mm bore L28 would love to discuss all things L28 related....I think these cars have a strong cult following, hit me back morne.reynolds@outlook.com |

Hi.
The 48mm sidedrafts and msd ignition got fitted.
Tr88 cam and valve springs are still in storage.
Unfortunately the piston rings got damaged during tuning.
Car is currently at panel shop for rust repair and a fresh coat of paint.

My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less.
