Had 2 runs against this white 160si sentra with vvl conversion tonight.
First run from the robot. I launch a bit 2 high with 2 much wheelspin and he edges me. From 1st to 4th it's very tight with each car trying to edge ahead at different stages. ....End of 4th to end of 5th I finally get away and open just over 3 cars fast.
Run back down rolling in first he does the 3 hoot... He opens half a car in 1st and I have to play catchup... I slowly edge closer 2nd to 3rd and level 4th. Into 5th and I start pulling away from him then we tap 4 cars ahead in both lanes.
His sentra goes very nicely through the first 4 gears but seems to run out of steam by the end of 4th. Could be a higher final drive ratio giving him the fast acceleration but then robbing him on top end speed. Either way his car goes nicely.
Chatted to the vvl owner for a minute or 2. Drove down to turn around and take on some merc when I just saw blue lights behind me. Ghost squad cops on bikes pull up in front of me. ...One eyes my car till the robot hits green and I take the turn of and head home. Guys behind me was not so lucky and had 2 go through a roadblock.
