Had 2 quick runs against a stock type R only running induction this evening.
We launched on both runs with similar results.
S2000 launched at 7000rpm and type R at 4000rpm. Unfortunately the type R falls out of lift when shifting from first to 2nd just slightly on run one but very obviously on run 2. Think it would have been slightly closer had the type R stayed in lift.
The S2000 takes the launch on both runs and is comfortably ahead mid 3rd when we tap.
The K20 sounds mooi! I'm sure the lower vtec engagement benefit of hondata should prevent the falling out of lift when shifting to second even if it only occurs occasionally.

Not in the type R club. New owner... still getting use to the car. Think he has owned it just over a month now.
